Payday Advance

More and more layoffs and bankruptcy is expected. The new administration proposed for a change. There is a stimulus package for the country. The hope for change would not be easy because until now the economy is continually falling and unfortunate bailout didn't effect. . It appears that the bailout allocating is on the way to being as transparent as lending practices for payday advance loans. The Treasury Department released a report of its activities, having allocated $386 million to 23 banks. The federal government has been reacting to the call for more transparency in what is done with our money, the kind of disclosure you get from a lender of payday advance loans, after half of the bailout fund disappeared before its usage was tracked. Banks across the nation and Puerto Rico have been receiving Treasury funds to keep them afloat, like payday advance loans.

A lot of people try to blame the payday loan industry, and cite that there are more payday loan stores than McDonalds or Starbucks. A lot of negative media coverage has been inflicted on the payday loan industry, especially since the industry has become so popular and prevalent. A good deal of media coverage likes to link the two things, claiming that getting payday loans causes bankruptcy. This isn't really good thinking, since it is relatively common knowledge that just because two things coincide, doesn't mean that they are linked. The Vanderbilt Law School's Assistant Professor Paige Marta Skiba found that applicants that were approved for payday loans were more likely to file for bankruptcy than those who didn't. Now, that isn't surprising – the people who applied for payday loans needed money! People, who don't need money, don't apply. In other words, people who need money are more likely to declare bankruptcy. Anybody could have told us this. A payday loan is like any other debt – you take out the loan and you have to pay it back responsibly, and those people who borrow and spend irresponsibly are the ones who are the most likely to wind up with bankruptcy. It is unfair, and not really logical to blame payday loans for the rate of bankruptcy – instead of irresponsible financial planning. Haley’s comet swings by the earth every 86 years or so, which is precisely the amount of time that has passed since the last World Series game was called. The current one is suspended with the score tied at 2, the first occurrence of a suspended game in progress in World Series history, but it has been 86 years since a game was called in the World Series. However, this isn’t the only news in Pennsylvania. McCain, along with Palin, and Obama, sans Biden, both held morning rallies despite the weather that interrupted the most holy of all sporting events. McCain and Palin in Hershey, and Obama at Widener University in Philadelphia both continue to press their campaigns, McCain and Palin maintaining their attack mentality, whilst Obama keeps on reminding us that a vote for McCain is a vote for four more years of George W. Bush, just with a new face. For those of us who have ever needed quick loans, that might not be too bad of a thing, because we just might be able to maintain our freedom of financial choice. A democratic congress and presidency might not afford us that.

After turning himself in to authorities, 20 year old David Kernell, son of Democratic Representative of Tennessee, Mike Kernell, is facing five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. He will be charged for hacking into GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin’s personal E-mail account. It is alleged that after reading the contents, he took a screen shot and posted it on a public Web site. The contents included email addresses, pictures, birthdays, and phone numbers of family members and more. To top it off, after resetting the password, he also posted the new one he had created, which allowed others to access the E-mail account themselves. Nonetheless, Kernell pleaded not guilty to the charges. Facing a $250,000 fine is intense. At $1,500 per loan, it would take about 167 individual payday loans to cover that outrageous expense.

I watched the latest debate between Barack Obama and John McCain. Although the “town-hall”-style TV debate attracted more than 60 million viewers, the majority were not satisfied with countless indirect answers to many of the questions that were asked that night. Instead of providing firm resolution for the well-being of all Americans, they hope to bring on a larger number of citizens to take sides by means of personal criticism. McCain continued to proclaim his “stay the course” stance on Iraq and his oil drilling policies. On the other hand, Obama carried on criticizing Republican policies that he claimed have led to America’s current recession. This unremitting action of theirs only leaves us wondering exactly how either of them would work to prevent further economic catastrophes. America needs a logical economic proposal. Obama encourages the scheme to wipe out the payday loan industry, which is not a logical solution to the real economic problems we face. This is only to add more flavors for the banking and credit union appetizer.

David Kernell, the 20-year-old son of Democratic Representative Mike Kernell of Tennessee, got popped. According to CNN (“Democratic lawmaker's son indicted in Palin hacking”), he reset the password and gained access to GOP VP candidate Palin's personal E-mail account. It is alleged that he read the contents, took a screenshot of her E-mail directory and obtained other personal information. The information that may have been compromised includes E-mail addresses and pictures of family members, one or more cell phone numbers of family members, family birthdates and more from Palin's address book. Interestingly, after turning himself in, David Kernell pleaded not guilty. He pleaded not guilty despite the fact that he (allegedly) took the information he hacked from Palin's personal account and posted it to a public Web site. Not only that, but he posted the new password he’d created, which would enable others to easily access Palin's E-mail themselves and view any of the contents. As a result, Kernell Junior may be subject to the heat of a five-year prison term, $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. That’s enough to turn anybody into a fluffy white piece of popcorn. At the maximum of $1,500 per loan, that bail would require about 167 individual payday loans to free that fluffy little popped grain treat from being overcooked by cellmates.

With payday loans, according to the Peoria Journal Star, the “clustering” of “convenience cash stores” – no fax payday lenders – is pulling down property values. Pat Landes, the city’s Director of Planning and Growth Management, claims it’s just a “spacing” issue. According to the plan, keeping them at least 1,500 feet apart wouldn’t depreciate the property values. What will happen to that good old-fashioned sense of competition? When you spread them out, there is less incentive to drive down interest rates. At least City Attorney Randy Ray has the right idea: “The law is you cannot regulate to the point where it’s impossible to locate (within city limits).” Payday advance will survive this gamesmanship.

Elite politicians, including presidential candidate Barack Obama, are trying to limit access to on-demand, short term financial assistance in America. Some cities and towns are even placing restrictions on where these legitimate payday loan companies can establish their businesses. Even worse, several states including Georgia and North Carolina have successfully imposed complete bans on the payday loan industry, and several more states are following in their footsteps. Nationwide, American citizens are struggling to have their voices heard. They want to fight legislation that would wipe out the payday loan industry in the United State. Obama, and many other misled political officials, are advocating for an all-out ban of the payday loan industry for the sake of personal political gain. Their desire to eliminate the payday loan industry holds no regard for the people who need financial help in this depressed economy.

I'd heard the horror stories about payday loans before, namely that they're very expensive over the course of a year. I was only looking for $100 to help me cover expenses before my next payday; I didn't want to have to pay two to three times that in interest and hidden fees. So I went online to find out for myself what an online payday loan would entail. I was pleased to discover that it would only cost me $15 for the loan I wanted, and that in the worst case scenario, a payroll advance lender would work with me to establish a short-term payment schedule. Nothing scary about that...

No Fax Payday Loans - David

No Fax Payday Loans are a great resource to the people. Some claim they are expensive but likely they have not calculated the APR on a bounced check or debit card overdraft fee. I suggest people do their home work to see where the anti no fax payday loan hype is coming from. Big banks hate the payday loan industry simply because it is cheaper and more convenient.

Why are states coming into the payday loan area. Theses communties should be left alone and without any limitations
