This earlier post describes the lawsuit by an upstate New York law firm and Public Citizen to strike down new New York lawyer advertising restrictions on First Amendment grounds. That post discusses the various constitutional problems with the rules - - which restrict both commercial and non-commercial speech - - and links to earlier posts concerning the rules.
