Payday Advance

Interesting discussion....

Picky Boot

Ya I do accept that it is a costly cash but for short term it would be the best. The people who goes for payday loans shouldn't forget that it is a short term loan. These loans has to be used in emergency purposes and in the place where one can make a good profit.

The probability of payday advance companies burning up in flames would make the Arizona Credit Union System very happy. Yet, their opinion is only marked by means of their own preference. The credit union is taking the next big step to wipe out the competition and draw all the former cash advance customers into their grip. In an E-mail campaign which is estimated to reach about 1.6 million credit union customers, System will encourage voters to reject Proposition 200. In contrast, organizations such as the Arizona Community Financial Services Association are supported by Prop. 200 that claim that the Proposition will eliminate extensions by introducing flexible payment plans, lower state loan fees, and will not only regulate Internet lending, but control the number of walk-in stores in Arizona. This resolution will help payday loan customers and keep industry employees away from the unemployment binge. No one wants to lose their jobs, particularly in our current economy.

The Arizona Credit Union System would be very delighted to have the payday advance companies wiped off the surface of the Grand Canyon State. The credit union is working up their recruiting efforts to destroy the competition and assemble all the former cash advance customers within their holdings. System will persuade voters to turn down Proposition 200 through an immense E-mail campaign that is estimate to reach as many as 1.6 million credit union customers. On the other hand, the same Proposition supports organizations such as the Arizona Community Financial Services Association that declare that this will for sure lower state loan fees, introduce flexible payment plans to eliminate extensions and reduce the number of walk-in stores in the state. These improvements will help payday loan customers and keep industry employees off the edge. Who wants to be unemployed especially in our current economy?

After turning himself in to authorities, 20 year old David Kernell, son of Democratic Representative of Tennessee, Mike Kernell, is facing five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. He will be charged for hacking into GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin’s personal E-mail account. It is alleged that after reading the contents, he took a screen shot and posted it on a public Web site. The contents included email addresses, pictures, birthdays, and phone numbers of family members and more. To top it off, after resetting the password, he also posted the new one he had created, which allowed others to access the E-mail account themselves. Nonetheless, Kernell pleaded not guilty to the charges. Facing a $250,000 fine is intense. At $1,500 per loan, it would take about 167 individual payday loans to cover that outrageous expense.

David Kernell, the 20-year-old son of Democratic Representative Mike Kernell of Tennessee, got busted. According to CNN “Democratic lawmaker's son indicted in Palin hacking”, David reset the password and gained access to GOP vice presidential candidate Palin's personal e-mail account. Supposedly, David read the content, took a screenshot of Palin's directory, and also attained other private data. Some of the personal information that may have been accessed from Palin's address book includes e-mail addresses, family photos, family cell phone numbers, family birthdates and more. However, despite turning himself in, David Kernell pleaded not guilty. David pled not guilty even though he had allegedly hacked Palin's account and posted the content onto a public web site. David also posted the new password he created for Palin's account onto the public site, which would allow others easy access to Palin's e-mails as well. Consequently, David Kernell could face up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. At the maximum of $1,500 per loan, David’s bail would require approximately 167 individual payday loans.

untold

I have read many things about payday loans, and many opinions of different people.
I am a former employee (manager) of a major payday advance company, and i have the truth about it all. Employees are forced to perform a certain way from their immediate supervisor Ie.. divisional directors if you are a store manager. As a manager i was told on numerous occasions not to follow the best parctice CFSA
in so many words. When corporate isnt around ie auditors or the divisional Director's boss (the regional director) we were told to do what we had to do to collect on bad debt example call every reference. (even though they told us not to call anymore. (must have it in writing) call family members, allthe jobs.. and if you get the machine dont leave a message call until you talk to someone.I know that it is harrasement, it is outlned in every operations manual that a eference can only be called once, and i they tell you not to call cease. not the case when your boss is trying to make his/her bonus.
We were to hold checks for up to 14 days but during crunch time were told to deposit the check and stop taking promises from the customers. The list goes on and on. we were told to take any customer that walks in the door provided they are 18 qnd have a checking account, they didnt even care if the account was opened or not,(which in turn made the employees job hard, because you cant collect on a closed account, then your NUMBERS get out of whack and the employee is then punished.
If you think its bad for the customer, try working for one of those companies.
The practices that they (divisional directors) are unethnical and down right greedy.
WE WERE TAUGHT TO PRAY ON THE POOR AND THE ELDERLY. regardless of what they tell you, it is a fact that those are the best customrs because they have to return... YOU JUST TOOK ALL OF THEIR PAY FOR THE MONTH, NOW THEY ARE BROKE. i have seen too many customers cry because they couldn't pay, and having the heart that I do. i wouldnt let them pay. i would tell them i would deposit their checks. (of course they would have to pay a overdraft fee but they didnt mind. ten i would legally set them up on a reasonable payment plan until paid out.I refused to make the collection calls, and I refuse marketing the poor and elderly ,
therefore I was terminated not because they found out what I was doing, but because my numbers weren't in order they were losing money... WOW what a relief....I finally free from the binds that held me.. See they pay their managers such good money that you have no choice but to stay, because where else are you going to find a job that pays you 12+ an hour, especially if you have no work skills.
I just would like to apologize to those i wasn't able to save. keep your head up, i may just infiltrate the system and free you all.

It is set up for them to return.
We were told if they qualify for 200, give them 300, 400 give them 500, they knew that the customer couldn't pay it back, therefore they had to borrow their own money back. Ironic isn't it, Borrowing yur own money back from someone who just stole it from you right from under your nose. i've heard people say." no body made them come in here to borrow the money"
but on the contrary, everyone falls short every once in a while, and can't get a loan through a bank or family members, but trust me once in that system it is set up to keep you there, I PROMSE YOU IT IS. We were trained to trick you, to entice you, to dangle it in front of your face, just so we could get you in debt with us, Be friendly until its time not to be friendly.
When you have your loan and are pying itback they smile and talk and gossip with you, have something else come up and you cant pay, they smile and tellyou its ok, but are standing at the bank door before it opens hoping you are not in the drive thru lane so they can get your money first. Now you really have to borrow it back because your bills are due and we just took your whole check.
All I can say is "GOD FORGIVE ME"
