This is helpful on many fronts. I discovered that the institution where I teach has a website rated at the "postgrad" level. Not quite genius, but I wasn't bothered. Because the counterpart school at Yale rates only "junior high school."

You can find the Blog Readability Test at http://www.criticsrant.com/bb/reading_level.aspx. I have no idea what standards it uses to determine readability but I am confident our blog can be understood by those who are not geniuses because I can understand it.
