AOL has posted a collection of what they call "Debt Collection Horror Stories" which they describe as true stories involving AOL users. (Hat tip: Arlene Levitin).

The list of debt collection horror stories is endless. I think the solution to this is to have better education and enforcement of the fair debt collection practices act which prevents consumers from being harrassed unfairly by debt collection agencies.
