This article in yesterday's Washington Post provides a nice synopsis of the new laws and regulations that will take effect in 2010 concerning credit cards, credit reports, and bank overdraft protection. All of it is supposed to benefit consumers over current law.

But Yet They Tell Me. Because I Had Them Shut Down/Closed. They Will Not Be Reported To The Credit Berau. As Being
Paid Out. Or As Being Paid.Why? Is This Leagel? If So. I Would Be Just As Well Of
Credit Wise. Just Not Pay Them At All.
