Despite the lack of substantive information, this is an impressive and important step in the right direction – transparency and information sharing among consumers backed with the enforcement power of a government agency. Of course, it remains to be seen whether the CFPB will actually leverage this information to make real and lasting changes in favor of consumers – but for today its only fair to say: nice job CFPB.
