Brian - Thanks for writing. My understanding is that the CFPB will contact individuals eligible for a share of the restitution award. So you don't have to do anything if you are eligible. If you have questions, you can call the CFPB hotline at 855-411-2372.

I was sued while in afghanistan and had no way to show for a court date. The garnishment was paid in full so i contacted freedom stores after reading this and the rep on the phone said there are no plans to refund any money to anyone whatsoever. So what should I do next?
