Mike Landis

Litigation Director, U.S. PIRG


Mike Landis is Litigation Director for U.S. PIRG and the state PIRGs. He oversees all litigation in which the organizations are involved.

Prior to joining the PIRGs in 2016, Mike was a litigator in private practice and handled a variety of disputes in state and federal courts. He clerked in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. Mike also has experience at the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection in Washington, D.C. and the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement in New York. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York, New Jersey, and numerous federal courts.

Mike graduated cum laude from the Fordham University School of Law in 2011. While in law school, he was a member of the Stein Scholars public interest law program, and he received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. He is a graduate of Colorado College and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras. Mike is based in Denver, Colorado.
